On September 9th and 10th 2023, our students, from Chatt High Center for Creative Arts, had the opportunity to work alongside the Live Nation and AC Entertainment media production teams to create content for the legendary Moon River Music Festival right here in Chattanooga, TN. This was a special one for sure!

These two students, Oni and Serenity, covered 22 performances over the course of two days. The weekend couldn’t have been better. 13,000 stoked fans, top-tier acts, near perfect weather — It really couldn’t have been better.

Oni has shot several shows with Dynamo, while this was Serenity’s first time shooting a show. Not only did they put out fantastic work, but they also learned how to make friends in the pit, keep to a schedule, get a look at the processes needed to shoot and edit quickly, and maintain a fantastic attitude no matter how hot it got.

Another exciting part of this event was that we had an all-girls Dynamo team. The media and production industry is incredibly male-dominated and it is important to us to intentionally pour into girls so they know that they are equipped and capable of taking up space in the industry.
