OVERVIEW
Dynamo Studios, an edu 501(c)3 organization facilitates life-changing educational opportunities for students through in-school programming, extracurricular programs, public edu partnerships, and career experience opportunities through robust high-level partnerships at every level of the music and modern creative industries. We currently operate programs in schools between Nashville TN, Chattanooga TN, and Atlanta GA.
Although we may appear at first glance as an arts organization, we are squarely a student development organization that uses the music industry as a means of creating lifelong change. (But don’t get us wrong, we teach them how to make hits too!)
We believe that the music industry is a straight line to life — We are using the music and creative industries as our catalyst to equip, empower, and elevate our students.
There is a special focus on entertainment business, music production, audio engineering, photography, videography, and graphic design, but at the end of the day, our goal is to also help students reach self-actualization (the peak of human development according to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs).
Through innovative programming and highly effective engagement with students, we are changing the trajectory of students’ lives across Chattanooga.

CHATTANOOGA SCHOOLS

Howard Connect ACADEMY
Of all the partnerships we have, our work at Connect is our proudest accomplishment. We are a founding partner that helped develop and open the school in 2018-19. Now we run full-time in-school credit-based programs serving 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
Howard High School
Our partnership with The Howard School completes our 6th-12th grade pipeline. This theoretically allows for students to graduate with more experience than a college grad in the modern creative fields. At the high school, we are providing full-time credit-based programming to students of all grade levels.

DALEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL
Dalewood is a Title I school that we are very excited to be working with! At this middle school, we are working with them to build out a large music production space and a well-equipped mobile production lab that will support music production, photography, videography, and design. From this program, we will eventually launch a full-scale production program at Brainerd High School (where the students attend following 8th grade promotion).
CENTER FOR CREATIVE ARTS
Starting work with CCA on a formalized program was a full circle moment for Dynamo as that’s where we came up with the idea for our org years ago. We are elated to launch their after-school production program and consult with their inaugural film program. Additionally, we developed, designed, and built their brand new recording studio opening in Fall 2023.
Tyner Academy (Middle/High School)
The program at Tyner is shaping out to be something special. Initially, we launched a part-time program with this school under our Sponsored Programs Model where we partnered with one of their pre-established technology teachers and provided her with training and equipment. Due to the quick success and rapid growth of the program, we’ve provided a full-time instructor to support the development and expansion of the program as a 6th-12th grade model. We even helped them secure $300,000+ of reallocated state funding to support the program’s expansion and development.
CHATT PREP (under development)
At Prep. we are supporting the expansion of their creative arts programs through an inaugural drumline team. From there we intend to support and lead the development of media and music production programs throughout both the middle school and high school.

ATLANTA SCHOOLS
HJ RUSSELL WEST END ACADEMY
We had the great pleasure of launching a brand new music production program at HJ Russell West End Academy, a middle school in Atlanta, GA with an emphasis on STEAM programs.
This partnership marks our inaugural expansion to ATL and our first opportunity to partner with Atlanta Public Schools.
The primary focus of the programs will be music production, audio engineering, songwriting, and business.
DT HOWARD MIDDLE SCHOOL
Howard is a middle school located in Midtown Atlanta. We launched a program with this school under our Sponsored Programs Model where we partner with one of their pre-established music teachers. Through this partnership, we taught full-time classes to help them close out their second semester and set the stage for robust full-time programs starting in the 2023-24 school year.
Through this partnership, we will support music production classes, audio engineering, photo, video, design, and business.
MIDTOWN HIGH SCHOOL
Midtown High School is a high school located in Midtown Atlanta. We are early in this partnership, but we are launching with our Sponsored Programs Model. What’s exciting here is that we will strategically partner with teachers across the entire arts department. Additionally, this partnership completes our 6-12th grade model allowing students in the Midtown feeder pattern to graduate with resumes and portfolios that will rival or surpass college grads in similar focus areas. This partnership sets the stage for robust full-time programs starting in the 2023-24 school year.
NASHVILLE SCHOOLS
McGavock High School
McGavock is a high school located just outside of downtown Nashville with an emphasis on classroom-to-career pipelines. Through this partnership, we will be building off of their preexisting production and audio engineering programs as well as supporting their media production programs. We will help take the existing programs to the next level, connect students to high-level opportunities in the industry, and provide ongoing consultation and support for the teachers. Additionally, we are leading the launch of programs in the middle schools that feed to the high school. This will give the students a robust baseline understanding of music to build off of when they start as freshmen.
PEARL-COHN High School
Pearl-Cohn is an entertainment magnet high school located just outside of downtown Nashville. Through this partnership, we will be building off of the nearly decade-long track record of this school. We will help take the existing programs to the next level, connect students to high-level opportunities in the industry, and provide ongoing consultation and support for the teachers. Additionally, we are leading the launch of programs in the middle schools that feed to the high school. This will give the students a robust baseline understanding of music to build off of when they start as freshmen.
